Monica and Vikas’ Indian wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center was stylish and brought together friends and family under the famous Tiffany dome for ceremony and reception festivities. Before the ceremony, the couple opted to see each other for first look and take some couple portraits in the Millennium Park Lurie Garden. Monica looked beautiful with her heavy red velvet and gold embroidered lehenga choli, and Vikas was waiting eagerly to see her for the first time.
The family soon joined together for some portraits prior to the ceremony before the Baraat began. During the Baraat, Monica could hear the drum beats from atop the Cultural Center, and tried to get a glimpse of the procession below that circled around the center and onto Michigan Avenue, with plenty of onlookers to enjoy the vibrant Dhol rhythms, dancing and celebration. The whole day was coordinated by the bride’s good friend, and will certainly be remembered fondly. Enjoy!
