I’m very grateful and thankful for all the Brides and Grooms, their families and friends who I have been able to work with through the years. As Chicago Photographers, for us the last 10 years have been full of memorable times. I have made some great friends in the process. Thank you for letting me be part of your life-stories. Cheers to all of you!
I have loved being part of each of the weddings we have captured, and remember them all. Even with so many weddings under the belt, my typical wedding routine has remained religiously the same. From cleaning and organizing my equipment the night before each wedding, to the deep breath I take right before the bride walks down the aisle, squatting down to capture the groom’s emotions. Many thoughts and visualizations go into my workflow. What’s the best angle? How’s the lighting? To how are the parents and families responding? Capturing and stopping moments in time, the smiles, the tears, the holding of hands. So many details occurring in a fraction of time. In these instants, I only focus on the Moments, Emotions and Motions. These are the characteristics that have come to define my work. Capturing you as you do what comes naturally, with true feelings, genuineness and authenticity.
Chicago Photographers and any photographers for that matter, face many challenges creatively, but I have come to learn that when couples are left to be themselves, what we create together becomes very personal and most importantly very genuine to who they are, and that is a timeless Art.
Thank you also to all the wonderful venues and vendors we have worked with; your support and collaborations are continually appreciated. I’m looking forward to meeting and continuing to work with some amazing new couples in the coming years.
Cheers, Esenam
