In this preview of Sameera’s Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel wedding, we see a joyous bride by her groom Anand, during the pre-wedding events portrait time. This time was as fun as the one we spent together during their beautiful engagement session in the city of Chicago earlier in the spring.
Few days prior to the wedding, I was able to document several of the traditional events that set the tone for the great celebration.
First came the Pithi ceremony, then a family event followed by the application of henna and then the Sangeet. Through all these events, the bride was surrounded by her original loving family members as well as her new family from the groom’s side. The gifts, blessings and well wishes poured in from all angles. The awaited celebration of the couple was finally here. These two were all smiles and affectionate as seen in the images that ensued from our time together this summer. I’m looking forward to sharing the wedding day images with you here soon. Enjoy…
