Angie and Daniel’s engagement pictures in Chicago take me back to the days before Covid-19. With so much going on in the world, it is a breath of fresh air (literally) to photograph these two. As you can see, we steered clear of the typical city locations and chose, instead, to stay outdoors in the Chicago suburbs and around Geneva, Illinois.
The couple chose a relaxed summer look to take photos in the park, walking with the sun shining through Angie’s hair and relaxing together on a picnic blanket. The couple also had fun taking photos with their personal face masks as a reminder that this seemingly normal engagement session took place in the context of social distancing as Illinois relaxed its stay-home order. After this, Angie and Daniel changed outfits and strolled along the Riverwalk, stopping to talk as the sun sank lower in the sky and gave us golden hour light. I really enjoyed capturing this couple’s natural chemistry and interactions on camera. Enjoy!
